I used to be an emotional eater, binge eater, compulsive eater . . . all of that. No matter what emotion I felt, I used food to soothe it. Sometimes I was just tired and I wanted to eat . . . even though I wasn’t really hungry. My mind wanted food to settle down and feel better. While I have used many diets, the tools that I have developed without dieting were the ones that helped the most. Hypnosis and diet is the result of solving my own problem (for good!), then turning to help others.
I can honestly say that I am not an emotional eater anymore, and I have helped a LOT of other people stop binge eating and stop eating for emotional reasons. There are many tools that can help, and once you learn them, you are well on your way. It’s just a matter of finding what works for you.

Lose Weight Without Willpower
Your body doesn’t like starvation diets.
That’s why, at Hypnosis and Diet, I’ve never been a fan of using “willpower” to lose weight.
The more you try to resist the urges to eat, the stronger they get, until you eventually give in.
Willpower is based on ”logic” and it’s no match for the powerful emotionally-driven brain center that governs appetite when it thinks your body is starving.
The emotional brain keeps urging you to eat because it thinks your body is starving. Emotion will win out every time.
These simple new consciousness techniques “reset” the appetite center and reduce hunger signals. This creates a “peaceful indifference” to food. At hypnosis and diet, we believe in making things simple and using the subconscious mind to our advantage. Now, THAT is a great way to live!
EFT Weight Loss CD
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) can be easily combined with hypnosis and diet to assist you in 4 main ways:
1. Stop food cravings and the urge to overeat
2. Neutralize the emotions that are driving the food cravings — Tired? Stressed? Upset? It’s easy to reach for food to soothe these feelings. EFT is a simple and elegant tool to soothe the emotions and recharge your energy, so you won’t be reaching for food.
3. Change your thinking about what is possible with weight loss (make the whole issue of weight loss be easier and less of a struggle). One of the biggest ways that we sabotage ourselves is negative thinking. If you get easily discouraged and you hear negative self-talk (the meanest words are the ones we say to ourselves), then use EFT to shift your thinking.
4. Stop sabotaging your weight loss! (This is perhaps the most helpful of all. What good is weight loss if you can’t hang onto it?)
EFT can unearth those core issues in a gentle and holistic way. It works perfectly with hypnosis and diet to “tap in” the positive changes you are making.
Recommendation: This CD was created for people who know the basics of EFT for weight loss. If you aren’t already familiar with EFT, get the book first. Then the CD will really make sense. Both are highly recommended!
